Instructions For Determining Your Organization ID

1. If you are affiliated with Shop for Charity Day (SFCD), these instructions apply to you. If you are not affiliated with us, here's your opportunity. Just visit our site and register your organization. If you do not wish to register with SFCD, but would still like to add your project, simply close this window, select a different 'Group Type' and a Project ID will be created for you.
   
2. Go to http://www.shopforcharityday.com
   
3. On the Home page, search for your organization using the Choose an Organization to Shop For search window on the left side of the page.
1. Enter a partial name of your organization name (i.e. "Unstop").
2. Click on Find Organization.
   
4. On the next page, you'll find a list of organizations which contain your search term.
1. If you get too many organizations on the list, adjust your criteria using the search window at the top of the page to make the search more unique.
2. Using the paging options found just above the first organization listed, advance through the pages until you find your organization.
3. If the names are similar, check the address, city and state to locate the chapter you are looking for.
   
5. Once you have located your organization, look to the right side of your organization name. You will see a number within square brackets [ 00000 ]. In this example, the organization ID number is 00000.
   
6. Additional information. If your organization has a web site, you should see a globe icon above your organization ID number. If you do not see the globe icon, you can edit your organization information at our Shop for Charity Day website. All submissions must be verified prior to publication.
