Who is Together We Can Change the World?
TWCCTW (www.TogetherWeCanChangeTheWorld.com) was formed in March of 2004 to create a way for people to become more active in helping non-profit organizations (NPOs) in ways other than simply sending money. Many people have already felt the euphoric feeling of helping someone in need. Through TWCCTW's two projects: Together We Can Change the World Day and My Power Mall (www.mypowermall.com) our hope is that millions of people will come to know what that feeling is like.
Why is TWCCTW Day every month?
Organizations all over the country need help year-round. Having TWCCTW Day on a monthly basis - the first Saturday of every month - allows us to provide ongoing support to the organizations making a difference in our lives. In addition, different times of the year create different needs and focuses for our organizations. And finally, having it on a monthly basis assures that the millions of people wanting to help will find one or more TWCCTW Days they can be involved in!
How do I know who needs help in my area?
We have added a Project section to our TWCCTW Day website. Anyone can go there and search by city, state or country to find projects that have been posted in your area. If you don't find one close to you, but you know of a project that needs help, or you want to start one of your own, you can input that project right into our database so others can find that project as they search.
How do we learn if any volunteers have signed up to work with us? Our project is already listed.
TWCCTW Day is simply a venue for you to publicize your projects. It is up to each volunteer to contact you directly to obtain more detailed information, scheduling, etc.
Who can be involved?
Anyone. No one is too young or too old, too rich or too poor. Whether you are healthy or housebound, there are ways you can help change the world. Our books of ideas have something for everyone.
Is there any cost?
No. There is never a cost associated with Together We Can Change the World Day, or Together We Can Change the World. Our E-books, Prints, E-cards, etc. are always, and will always be, FREE. This is our way of giving back to the world and we don't want anyone left out because of finances. Can I be involved as an individual?
Absolutely. Just one person can make a huge difference. Not everyone will want, or be able, to be part of a team. That's fine. Just find something you can pour your heart into for that day and know you were part of millions who mobilized to help change the world!
